🏢 Who Cegecom is
Cegecom SA was founded in 1998 as the first company to compete with POST on voice services in Luxembourg. Today it is part of the Artelis Group, majority-owned by VSE AG, a German utility and telecom group based in Saarbrücken.
The company operates its own fibre optic network spanning more than 1,500 km across Luxembourg, Germany, France, and Belgium. This network independence sets Cegecom apart from operators that lease infrastructure from the national incumbent.
In 2025 and 2026, Cegecom became the first Luxembourg operator certified for Microsoft Teams Operator Connect, in partnership with Microsoft and AudioCodes. It serves B2B customers only, not residential or retail.
