BI Voxbi

BI Voxbi

Voxbi is the cloud PBX software brand of Mixvoip, a Luxembourg telecom operator registered since April 2008. Voxbi is the software and admin layer; Mixvoip carries the numbers, network, and regulatory status. Best fit: LU and Greater Region SMEs that want EU-hosted calling with published prices. Worst fit: buyers needing 24/7 phone support on a low-cost plan.
⚠️ House-brand BI page. Polarity is inverted from the competitor template: strengths are ours to defend, limitations are ours to fix. All pricing verified 11 August 2026 from live sources. Nothing on this page authorises new Voxbi presence on pbx.lu.

Part 1 — Sales-ready and editorial-ready intelligence

A. House card

Positioning. Voxbi is a cloud PBX sold in two lines: Voxbi One, a self-service subscription starting free and rising to €3.10 per user per month, and Voxbi Managed, a full-service tier from €5.20 per user per month with a contractual SLA. The regulated telecom underneath is Mixvoip, notified in Luxembourg and registered with regulators in fifteen jurisdictions.

Three genuine strengths

  1. Complete public price list for both lines, plus a downloadable per-destination call rate table covering 667 destinations. Source: voxbi.com/pricing and voxbi.com/pricing/call-rates, 11 Aug 2026.
  2. Regulated operator status in depth, not just an EU sales office: ILR (LU), IBPT 4065 (BE), Bundesnetzagentur 18/010 (DE), ARCEP MXVP (FR), ACM/25/196334 (NL), plus ten more. Source: mixvoip.com/legal/impressum/, 11 Aug 2026.
  3. ISO 27001 certificates published as downloadable PDFs for the Luxembourg, Belgian, and German entities. Source: mixvoip.com/company/accreditations/, 11 Aug 2026.

Three honest limitations

  1. No phone support and no SLA with downtime credit on any Voxbi One plan, including the €3.10 tier. Source: voxbi.com/pricing comparison table, 11 Aug 2026.
  2. The published partner directory lists four partners, all in Luxembourg and Belgium, while the homepage claims integrators "across Europe". No Germany, France, or Netherlands partner is named. Source: voxbi.com/partners/find, 11 Aug 2026.
  3. AI transcription is capped at 15 analysed calls per month on Free, Starter, Plus, and Channel. Only Plus AI is uncapped, and the AI feature page does not mention the cap. Source: voxbi.com/pricing table versus voxbi.com/features/ai, 11 Aug 2026.

Three approved one-liners

  • "Two lines: run it yourself from €0, or have us run it with an SLA from €5.20 per user."
  • "Numbers, network, and regulatory filings sit with a notified operator, not a reseller."
  • "Every price is on the website, including a 667-destination call rate table you can download as CSV."

Three things never to say

🚫 Do not claim "Certified partners across Europe." Four partners are published, in two countries.
🚫 Do not claim "Every call is transcribed and summarised." True only on Plus AI and Managed Enterprise.
🚫 Do not claim "ISO 27001 certified platform." The certificates are held by the Mixvoip legal entities. Scope, certificate number, and certification body are not published, so do not describe platform scope.

Disqualifiers

Voxbi is the wrong answer when the buyer needs 24/7 phone support at entry price, when they need a named local integrator in Germany, France, or the Netherlands today, when they need a Luxembourg or Belgian number provisioned as a new number rather than ported, or when they need a contact centre suite with workforce management and omnichannel.

B. Fit qualification questions

Cost and billing model

  1. How many people need their own extension, and how many calls do you actually run at the same time? Fewer concurrent calls than users points to Voxbi Channel at €14.50 per channel rather than per-user pricing.
  2. Do you already own phone numbers, or do you need new ones? Paid Voxbi One plans include zero numbers, at €1.60 each.
  3. Which countries do you call most? Starter and above reach Zone International; the Free plan is limited to Zone EU plus the United States and Canada.
  4. Is a predictable flat monthly bill more important than the lowest headline price? Voxbi Managed publishes flat unlimited user rates alongside metered ones.

Feature and gating

  1. Do you need call analytics dashboards? Those start at Plus on Voxbi One and at Business on Managed.
  2. How many calls per month need an AI transcript? Above 15, only Plus AI or Managed Enterprise fits.
  3. Do you need Microsoft Teams calling? That requires Plus or above plus €50 per month flat, plus a Microsoft Teams Phone licence you buy from Microsoft.
  4. Do you need to keep your existing SIP carrier? BYOC starts at Plus.
  5. How long must call recordings be retained? Voxbi One does not publish a retention figure; Managed publishes 3, 14, 60, or 120 days by tier.

Operational and support

  1. Does anyone on your team need to reach a human by phone when calls stop working? No Voxbi One plan includes phone support.
  2. Do you want a written uptime guarantee with financial credits? That exists only on Managed, and only above the Basic SLA level.
  3. Who will build and maintain your call flows? Self-service means your team; Managed means ours.
  4. Do you need on-site intervention? On-site is limited to Luxembourg, Belgium, and select regions of Germany and France.

Strategic and compliance

  1. Does your auditor need to know exactly where call recordings sit? Voxbi publishes "EU data centres" but does not name the country or facility.
  2. Do you need Luxembourgish-language call transcription? Support is limited across all vendors, ours included.

C. Objection handling matrix

Objections against Voxbi, as a buyer would raise them. The honest response concedes the point where the point is correct, and ends with a question.
Objection
Why they say it
Underlying concern
Honest response
Proof point
No phone support on affordable plans
Pricing table marks phone support absent on all five self-service plans
Nobody will pick up when calls fail
Correct, and deliberate. Voxbi One is priced as software; phone support and an SLA live in Voxbi Managed from €5.20. If a phone line to support matters, One is the wrong line. Which outage scenario worries you most?
No SLA and no downtime credit
Same table row
No financial recourse
Also correct on Voxbi One. Managed carries the Mixvoip SLA, 99.80% to 99.95% availability, credits 20% to 40% per hour. Note Managed Essential without Mixvoip internet maps to the Basic SLA, which has no uptime guarantee either. Would a written uptime figure change your decision?
Teams costs extra
€50 per month flat, only from Plus
Hidden cost
Yes. €50 flat, plus your own Teams Phone licences. Flat means it does not scale with users, cheaper than most per-seat Teams add-ons above roughly 15 users. How many Teams callers would you have?
Paid plans include no phone number
Free includes two, paid plans none
Advertised price is not the real price
Correct. Numbers are €1.60 each, billed separately. Ten people on Plus is €29 plus €16, not €29. Shall we build the real monthly figure together?
Linux is not supported
No Linux download offered
Mixed fleets get second-class treatment
True for a native app. Linux users run the web app at voxbi.team. macOS does have a native App Store app, despite what the homepage FAQ says. How many Linux desktops are in scope?
You depend on partners and there are almost none
Directory lists four, all LU and BE
Nobody local will support me
Fair. Four partners published today, covering LU and BE. You can also buy direct, and the network is expanding. Where are your sites?
Nobody outside Luxembourg has heard of Voxbi
New brand versus RingCentral or 8x8
Vendor risk
Correct on brand awareness. The operator behind it has been registered since April 2008 and holds registrations in fifteen jurisdictions. Is your risk about the brand or about who holds your numbers?
AI is capped at 15 calls a month
Pricing table row
Bait and switch
Correct, and our AI page should say so. Uncapped AI is Plus AI at €3.10, twenty cents above Plus. How many calls a month would you want analysed?
You cannot sell me a Luxembourg number
Pricing FAQ names DE, FR, NL, ES, IT, PT
Home market gap
The self-service catalogue lists those six. LU and BE numbers come through Mixvoip as the notified operator, including porting. Do you need to port an existing LU number or buy a new one?
Where exactly is my data?
Site says "EU data centres" without a location
Audit exposure
We publish the region, not the facility. If your auditor needs the country and sub-processor list, we supply it under the DPA rather than on the website. Does your DPIA require a named location?
You do not own your own fibre backbone
Mixvoip layers over partner networks
Resilience
True. Mixvoip is not an infrastructure operator in the sense Cegecom is, with a national fibre backbone and Tier III or IV data centres. For voice that has not been a constraint; for a single-site fibre SLA it can be. Which matters more in your case?
Analyst assessment
Recording retention unclear on cheap plans
Managed publishes retention days, One does not
Compliance gap
Correct, Voxbi One does not publish a retention figure. If retention is a regulatory requirement, Managed is the honest answer because the numbers are contractual. What period does your regulator require?
Your own site contradicts itself on partners
Homepage says delivered through partners; partners page says optional
Sloppiness signals immaturity
That is a genuine inconsistency on our site and we are fixing it. The accurate statement is that you can buy direct or through a partner. Which would you prefer?
Free plan needs a card and ID check
Stated under the Free plan
Not really free
Correct. The card and ID check exist because Free includes emergency calling on a real number, which is a regulatory obligation. The trial has no emergency calling and needs no card. Which route suits you?
Only five case studies
Case study index
Unproven at scale
Correct: LGL Transport, Quaregnon, Luxfit, Ernster, NSI. We can arrange a reference call in your sector instead. Which sector matters?

D. Win/loss pattern map

We win when a Luxembourg or Greater Region SME has been quoted by an incumbent without a published price and wants to scope cost before a sales call. We win when a business is mid-ISDN or legacy PBX replacement and wants numbers, network, and software from one regulated counterparty. We win when a buyer is already running Odoo and wants call activity on the contact record without building the integration. We win when data residency is a procurement requirement and a US-headquartered UCaaS vendor cannot answer it cleanly. We win when a company operates across LU, BE, DE, and FR and wants one invoice.
We lose when the buyer needs 24/7 phone support and compares only entry prices, where a regional European vendor such as Ringover or Dstny bundles support into the base tier. We lose on brand and RFP checkbox depth against global UCaaS such as RingCentral, 8x8, or Zoom Phone, particularly where a global rollout beyond the EU is in scope. We lose contact centre deals to specialists, because queueing and analytics are not a workforce management suite. We lose to partner-led vendors such as Wildix in Germany, France, and the Netherlands, where their integrator density is real and ours is not yet published. We lose to 3CX and self-hosted platforms when the buyer has strong in-house IT and wants to own the deployment.
🎯 The deciding factor. Whether the buyer values a published price and a regulated local counterparty more than a support phone number bundled into the entry tier.

Part 3 — Deep research

1. Executive summary

Voxbi is the cloud PBX software brand of Mixvoip, a Luxembourg telecom operator registered in April 2008 and active in Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany, and France through four legal entities, with regulator registrations in fifteen jurisdictions. The brand separation is deliberate and stated on the site: Voxbi is the software and admin layer, Mixvoip carries numbers, network, and regulation.
The 2026 product line is split in two. Voxbi One is self-service, starting at €0 for up to three users and rising through €1.20, €2.90, and €3.10 per user per month, with a per-channel alternative at €14.50. Voxbi Managed is full-service, from €5.20 to €17.10 per user per month, and is the only line carrying a contractual SLA. Every price is public and exclusive of VAT, alongside a 667-destination call rate table available as CSV. Pricing transparency is the clearest competitive asset against Luxembourg incumbents, most of which publish nothing.
The honest weaknesses are three. First, the self-service line has no phone support and no SLA with downtime credit at any price point, which is a hard stop for buyers who treat voice as critical infrastructure. Second, the published partner directory names four partners, all in Luxembourg and Belgium, while site copy claims integrators across Europe; delivery capacity in Germany, France, and the Netherlands is not evidenced. Third, several site claims are self-reported with no methodology, notably the 4.64 satisfaction rating and the municipality and care-home percentages.
The site also contradicts itself in ways a careful buyer will notice: the homepage says Voxbi is delivered through partners while the partners page says partners are optional; the homepage FAQ says Mac users are on the web app while a native macOS app exists on the App Store; and the AI page describes transcription of every call without disclosing the 15-call monthly cap on four of five self-service plans. These are editorial defects, not product defects, and they are cheap to fix.
Against the competitor set, Voxbi is strongest versus Luxembourg incumbents on price transparency and software self-service, competitive versus regional European vendors on price but behind on bundled support, and behind global UCaaS on brand, contact-centre depth, and non-EU coverage.

Regulatory footprint

Registrations are published for Luxembourg (ILR), Belgium (IBPT 4065), Germany (Bundesnetzagentur 18/010), France (ARCEP, MXVP), Netherlands (ACM/25/196334), Spain (CNMC, LU2269195), Portugal (ANACOM, B138372), Italy (AGCOM), Austria (RTR), Romania (ANCOM), Switzerland (BAKOM 2001244), Finland (Traficom), Sweden (PTS), Ireland (ComReg), and the United States (FCC 423L). The ILR lists Mixvoip among Luxembourg operators concerned by interconnection regulation.

Brand relationship

Verified fact: voxbi.com/about states that Mixvoip built the software and that Voxbi is now available on its own to any business, either on the Mixvoip network or with a customer's own carrier via BYOC. Reasoned inference: the two-brand structure exists to let the software be sold in markets where Mixvoip has no carrier presence, which is exactly what the partner programme is for.

Market role

Verified fact, citing ILR reports via mixvoip.com: Mixvoip's direct share of Luxembourg fixed-line minutes rose from 2.9% in 2020 to 6.3% in 2024, making it the second-largest fixed-line operator. Analyst assessment: the "over 10% including wholesale" figure is a self-calculation and should not be repeated without the underlying ILR table.

Growth by acquisition

Reasoned inference from third-party record: Voipgate acquired 2019, Crossing Telecom July 2025, Nomado's portfolio 2026. This is a consolidation strategy in a small market, and it is relevant to competitive positioning because it removes named competitors from the field.

Scale and recognition

Self-reported: 5,056 businesses across 26 countries, 80 specialists, 18 years, 30% of Luxembourg municipalities, 45% of Luxembourg care homes, 4.64 out of 5 satisfaction. Only the 18 years is independently corroborated, by the April 2008 registration date.
Recognition: OCA Gold sponsor 2026, LU-CIX Gold member, Telecom Company of the Year at the Luxembourg ICT Awards 2019, Great Place to Work Luxembourg 2021.

5. Service model assessment

Delivery. Two routes are published: direct purchase from Voxbi, or purchase through a partner who installs, ports numbers, and supports after go-live. The homepage frames partner delivery as the default; the partners page frames it as optional. The accurate statement, from the partners FAQ, is that partners are an option and not a requirement.
Partner coverage. Four partners are named: Mixvoip (LU, BE), Easy Services (BE), ICT-Pro (BE), It's Clear (BE, LU). No partner is published for Germany, France, the Netherlands, or anywhere else. The partner portal is marked "coming soon". Analyst assessment: for a Dutch or German buyer, "delivered by a local partner" is currently a promise rather than a directory entry, and the claim of integrators "across Europe" should be softened until the directory supports it.
Onboarding. Voxbi One is a four-step self-serve flow: start the trial with a Google or Microsoft sign-in, get numbers, add users and build call flows in the Cockpit, go live. Voxbi Managed adds co-management by the Voxbi or Mixvoip team.
Migration and porting. Inbound porting from Starter up, handled with the losing provider. Porting is claimed in more than 25 countries without a published list, which is an evidence gap a procurement team will find.
Support by line. Voxbi One: email only, on every plan, with no phone support and no SLA credit. Voxbi Managed: the Mixvoip SLA applies, and the level depends both on tier and on whether the customer also buys Mixvoip internet.
⚠️ A Managed Essential customer who does not take Mixvoip internet falls on the Basic SLA: no uptime guarantee, no downtime credits, no phone channel, 48-hour maximum response time. That combination is the least attractive point in the whole range and should be qualified out rather than sold.

Uptime is calculated monthly, which is more favourable to the customer than the three-month averaging some operators use. 24/7 fault processing is available only on the Advanced SLA.
Languages and local presence. The website publishes English, French, German, and Dutch. Offices exist in Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany, and France. On-site intervention is limited to Luxembourg, Belgium, and select regions of Germany and France.
Hardware. Desk phones, headsets, conference systems, doorbells, and intercoms are sold, but through mixvoip.com and without prices on voxbi.com.
What a buyer gives up by choosing self-service. No phone number to call when something breaks. No uptime commitment and no financial remedy. No published recording retention. No monitoring or alerting of their PBX. No onboarding assistance beyond documentation. For a five-person consultancy that is a reasonable trade at €1.20 per user. For a care home running nurse-call integration it is not, and Managed is the honest recommendation.

6. Pricing assessment

6.1 Public pricing summary

Both product lines are fully priced in public, VAT status is stated, and a 667-destination call rate table is downloadable as CSV. Numbers, add-ons, retention extensions, and the Teams add-on all carry published figures. Among Luxembourg operators this is close to unique; POST, Telkea, and Cegecom publish no comparable business PBX price list.

6.2 Transparency score: 4 out of 5

Scored by the same standard applied to competitors in this database. A 5 requires published prices, published contract terms, and published SLA numbers all in one place. Voxbi publishes prices and SLA levels but not contract terms, and the SLA level names on the pricing page cannot be decoded without leaving voxbi.com for mixvoip.com/sla. Setup fees, minimum term, notice period, termination charges, and hardware pricing are absent. The Managed "flat, unlimited" rate is published as a number but not defined as to which destinations it covers. Deducting one point for terms and one half for the cross-domain SLA decode, then rounding in the brand's favour on the strength of the CSV rate card, gives 4.

6.3 Hidden-cost risks for a buyer choosing Voxbi

Numbers are not included on any paid plan, so a ten-user Plus deployment is €29 plus €16 for ten numbers, not €29. Calls are entirely additional and metered per minute. Teams adds €50 per month plus Microsoft's own Teams Phone licences. Longer call history and recording storage are per-user monthly add-ons on Managed. AI beyond 15 calls per month forces a plan change, and the overage price is not published. The Managed SLA level, and therefore the value of the tier, silently degrades if the customer does not also buy Mixvoip internet. Setup fees and minimum term are unknown until a quote, which is the one place the pricing page stops being transparent.

6.4 Questions a buyer should ask us before signing

  1. What is the minimum contract term and the notice period, for each line?
  2. Are there setup, onboarding, or porting fees, and under what conditions are they waived?
  3. What happens to my call recordings and transcripts if I leave, and in what format can I export them?
  4. How long are call recordings retained on Voxbi One, and is that configurable?
  5. What happens on call 16 of the month on Plus: is AI simply unavailable, or is it charged?
  6. Which specific EU country and data centre hosts my recordings and transcripts, and who are the sub-processors?
  7. If I buy Managed Essential without Mixvoip internet, confirm in writing that I am on the Basic SLA with no uptime guarantee.
  8. Which countries can you actually port my numbers from, in writing, with typical timelines?
  9. What is the price of the desk phones you would propose, and am I obliged to buy them from you?
  10. If my only local partner is in Belgium and my office is in Trier, who physically attends site, and within what time?
  11. Is the "flat, unlimited" Managed rate unlimited to all worldwide destinations or to a defined subset?
  12. What is the escalation path and target for a total outage outside SLA hours?

7. Ideal customer profile

Best fit. Luxembourg and Greater Region businesses of roughly 5 to 250 users replacing a legacy PBX or ISDN line, who want published prices before a sales conversation. Organisations with a data residency requirement a US-headquartered vendor cannot satisfy cleanly. Odoo users who want call activity and AI summaries on the contact record. Multi-site operations across LU, BE, DE, and FR wanting one counterparty and one invoice. Healthcare and care-home operators, where the DIN VDE 0834, Martin.Care, and Tetronik DAKS certifications are a genuine and rare qualification. Retail and hospitality with more phones than simultaneous callers, where €14.50 per channel beats per-user pricing.
Poor fit. Contact centres needing workforce management, omnichannel, or quality management suites. Organisations that require 24/7 support at entry price. Businesses headquartered outside the four core countries with no named local partner. Companies standardised on Linux desktops with a policy against browser-based telephony. Buyers needing a global footprint outside the EU. Teams with strong in-house IT who want to own and self-host, where 3CX is the better answer.
⚠️ Watch-outs. A buyer attracted by the €1.20 headline may not have priced numbers and calls, and will feel misled at the first invoice; price the full basket at qualification. A buyer taking Managed Essential without Mixvoip internet gets the Basic SLA, which is weaker than they will assume. A buyer in a strongly Luxembourgish-speaking environment should test AI transcription before committing, because the site itself flags Luxembourgish as the weak point across all vendors.

8. Strengths and weaknesses versus the competitor set

Clear strengths

Versus Luxembourg incumbents (POST, Telkea, Proximus Luxembourg, Luxembourg Online). Published pricing for both lines and a downloadable rate card, against incumbents that publish nothing for business PBX. Self-service sign-up and same-day activation, against a quote-and-install cycle. A modern browser-based admin console the customer edits directly. Native Odoo integration, backed by OCA Gold sponsorship.
Versus global UCaaS (RingCentral, 8x8, Zoom Phone, Dialpad, Aircall). EU processing including AI, with an EU AI Act posture, against vendors that answer data residency with region selection rather than a regulated EU entity. Regulator registrations in fifteen jurisdictions, so numbering and emergency obligations sit with a notified operator. Materially lower per-user pricing at the entry and mid tiers. Local presence and on-site capability in LU and BE.
Versus regional European vendors (Ringover, Wildix, Telavox, Dstny, Sewan, Avivox). Operator status rather than pure software, which matters for numbering and porting in Luxembourg. Healthcare-specific certifications that most of this group does not hold. A free tier, which is rare in this group.
Versus self-hosted and vendor platforms (3CX). No server to run, patch, or secure; no PSTN contract to arrange separately; the operator and the software are the same counterparty.

Clear weaknesses

Versus Luxembourg incumbents. No national fibre backbone and no owned Tier III or IV data centres, where Cegecom and POST can bundle a single-SLA fibre and voice package that Voxbi must assemble. Smaller field service organisation. Less familiarity in conservative public-sector procurement, despite the municipality footprint.
Versus global UCaaS. Brand recognition, analyst coverage, and RFP-checkbox depth. Contact centre functionality is queues and dashboards, not a CCaaS suite. No coverage outside the EU comparable to a global vendor's in-country presence. Only five published case studies. No published uptime status page found in this pass.
Versus regional European vendors. Partner density: four published partners against Wildix's large certified installer network in Germany and Italy. No phone support in the self-service line, where several of this group bundle it. Fewer prebuilt CRM connectors; anything beyond Odoo and Microsoft is API work.
Versus 3CX. No self-hosted or on-premises option for organisations with a policy requirement for it. No Linux client. Less control over the deployment for teams that want it.

Neutral or depends on context

Partner-led delivery is an advantage where a partner exists and a disadvantage where none does. The free tier wins mindshare among micro-businesses but caps at 3 users and 2 concurrent calls, so it is a trial mechanism more than a product. Per-channel pricing is materially cheaper for retail and hospitality and materially worse for a knowledge-work team where everyone calls. EU-only hosting is a purchase reason for regulated buyers and a limitation for anyone with US or APAC operations.

pbx.lu maintenance list, strictly factual

📋 These sourced facts on the existing /competitors/voxbi profile are stale as of 11 August 2026. Correcting them is a factual accuracy task, not an expansion of presence. No new pbx.lu pages, no new Voxbi mentions, no link-building proposals.
  1. "A fully managed Cloud PBX service" and the section "Fully managed, not self-service" are both wrong. Voxbi One is a self-service line with a free tier.
  2. "The product targets businesses from 5 users upward" and "Voxbi is available from 5 users upward" are wrong. The Free plan serves up to 3 users.
  3. "Look elsewhere if you have 1 to 3 users and need the simplest possible setup" is wrong. That is exactly the Free plan's target.
  4. "Look elsewhere if you are deeply embedded in Microsoft 365 and want Teams-native calling" is wrong. Voxbi provides managed Direct Routing.
  5. "Microsoft Teams integration" is listed among included integrations. It is a €50 per month add-on requiring Plus or above.
  6. "Greater Region numbers: LU, BE, DE, FR" needs checking against the published self-service catalogue, which names DE, FR, NL, ES, IT, PT.
  7. "Running its own core network from Luxembourg data centres" is stronger than voxbi.com supports. The site says EU data centres without naming a country.
  8. "Support languages: 4" carries no source. The site publishes EN, FR, DE, NL, which is a website-language fact, not a support-language fact.
  9. "Desktop softphone for PC and Mac" is now confirmed as native apps on both, and should also mention the browser client and the absence of a Linux app.
  10. The coaxial backup path over Eltrona's cable network was not verified in this pass and should be re-sourced or removed.
  11. "Updated April 2026" needs refreshing, and the read-time line should be rechecked after edits.
  12. "Subscription, hardware, and numbers are listed separately" is half right. Hardware is not priced on voxbi.com.
Glossary terms needing vocabulary alignment per block I: per-channel pricing, bring your own carrier, Microsoft Teams direct routing, fixed mobile convergence, call zone, AI call analysis, number portability.

12. Retention and switching

Why buyers choose Voxbi. The price is visible before a sales call. Numbers, network, and software come from one regulated counterparty. Data stays in the EU with a real regulatory entity behind it, not a region toggle. The admin console lets their own team change a call flow the same afternoon. In healthcare, the nurse-call and alarm-server certifications are qualifying rather than nice to have.
Why buyers would leave Voxbi, honestly. They grow into a contact centre and find queues and dashboards are not enough. They have an outage on a self-service plan, discover there is no phone number to call, and leave for a vendor that bundles support. Their invoice exceeds the headline price once numbers and minutes land, and they feel misled. They open a German or Dutch office and find no local partner. They are acquired by a group standardised on a global UCaaS vendor. Their new IT lead wants a Linux client or a self-hosted platform.
What a competitor would attack first. The absence of phone support and SLA credit on every Voxbi One plan. The four-partner directory against "across Europe". The 15-call AI cap set beside an AI page that describes transcribing every call. The unnamed hosting location in a pitch built on data residency. Self-reported statistics with no methodology. The internal contradictions between the homepage, the partners page, and the download page, which read as immaturity.
Proof assets we are missing. A public status page and historical uptime record. Published ISO 27001 certificate numbers, scope statements, and expiry dates. A sub-processor list and a downloadable DPA. Case studies in Germany, France, and the Netherlands. Any independent review presence, since no G2, Capterra, or Trustpilot profile was surfaced in this pass. A methodology note behind the 4.64 satisfaction figure. A published country coverage matrix for numbers, porting, and support.

13. Evidence gaps and unknowns

Each gap is a research target for the next refresh.
  • The EU country and data centre that host calls, recordings, transcripts, and metadata
  • ISO 27001 certificate numbers, certification body, scope statements, and expiry dates
  • Whether the MeluXina claim on the About page is confirmed by LuxProvide
  • Call recording retention on Voxbi One
  • Minimum contract term, notice period, and termination terms on both lines
  • Setup, onboarding, and porting fees
  • The definition of "flat, unlimited" on Voxbi Managed and which destinations it covers
  • The price or behaviour of AI usage beyond the 15-call monthly allowance
  • The full list of countries where numbers can be bought and where porting is supported
  • Whether TAPI CTI is gated by plan
  • Whether Microsoft Teams is included or extra on Voxbi Managed tiers
  • The methodology, sample size, and period behind the 4.64 satisfaction rating and the municipality and care-home percentages
  • Whether an uptime status page exists
  • Independent review platform presence
  • Partner commission rates and partner certification requirements
  • Whether the Eltrona coaxial backup path referenced on pbx.lu is still offered

Bottom line

🎯 Choose Voxbi when a Luxembourg or Greater Region business wants EU-hosted cloud telephony with published prices from a regulated local operator, and either has the IT capacity to run it self-service or the budget for Managed; choose a global UCaaS vendor such as RingCentral or 8x8 for contact-centre depth and non-EU coverage, Wildix or Dstny where a certified local integrator in Germany, France, or the Netherlands is essential, and 3CX where the buyer wants to own and host the platform.
