The independent guide to Cloud PBX for businesses in Luxembourg and the Greater Region.
pbx.lu is a free, vendor-neutral guide to Cloud PBX, the business phone system that runs over the internet instead of a server in your office. It is written for business owners, office managers, and decision-makers in Luxembourg, Belgium, France, and Germany who want clear answers before they choose a provider.
Why we built pbx.lu
Most information about business phone systems comes from the companies selling them. It is full of jargon and written to push one product. That makes it hard to compare options on equal terms.
We built pbx.lu to fix that. Every page explains one topic in plain language, defines the technical terms as they come up, and compares providers side by side using the same criteria. The goal is simple: help you understand the choices, then decide what fits your business.
What you'll find here
📦 Features: what each Cloud PBX feature does and when it matters.
⚖️ Provider comparison: operators, platforms, and open-source options active in the region, compared on equal terms.
💼 Use cases: how the decision differs for a law firm, a hotel, a clinic, or a logistics company.
How we keep it useful
We hold to a few principles. Comparisons stay vendor-neutral and acknowledge each provider's real strengths. Writing stays plain, so a non-technical reader can follow it. Coverage stays focused on the Greater Region, where cross-border numbers, multiple languages, and the copper-line phase-out shape real decisions. The guide is in English today, with French and German versions on the way.
