Mixvoip is a voice-first operator that sells Voxbi, its own cloud PBX, priced and run as a product in its own right. This independent comparison looks at their published pricing, phone-system platforms, features, connectivity models and the types of businesses each approach may suit.

The two companies at a glance

Cloud PBX is a phone system run from a provider's data centre. You pay a monthly fee per user, and the provider handles the servers, updates and security.
Luxembourg Online (LOL) has operated in Luxembourg since 1995 and is 100% privately and locally owned. It runs its own DSL and fibre network nationally and reports more than 30,000 private and business customers. It sells fibre, mobile, IP TV, ICT and a cloud phone, LOLCLOUD Phone, plus SIP trunking for businesses that run their own PBX. Its strength is one local supplier and one bill on an owned network.
Mixvoip is Luxembourg's second-largest fixed-line operator by direct minutes. Its cloud PBX, Voxbi, is built and hosted in Europe and runs on Windows, macOS, the browser and mobile. Voxbi runs over any business internet, so you can keep your current line.

Pricing compared

Here the two providers differ most. Mixvoip publishes a complete per-user rate card for Voxbi: a free tier, three paid per-user plans, and a per-channel plan for call centres. Luxembourg Online publishes one discounted headline price for a LOLCLOUD Phone seat and quotes the rest on request. Both exclude VAT, and on both sides handsets, numbers and calls are billed separately. Read the entry-level figures as a like-for-like, and the rest as a difference in how much each provider puts in public.

Voxbi Starter is 1.20 EUR per user per month, and Voxbi also runs a free tier for up to three users. 💶 Higher tiers. Voxbi's paid plans are Starter at 1.20 EUR per user, Pro at 2.90 EUR per user, and Pro AI at 3.10 EUR per user, each per month. Pro adds international numbers, bring-your-own-carrier, analytics, Odoo and Microsoft 365, and API access; Pro AI adds unlimited AI transcription and call insights. For high call volumes, Voxbi Call Center is priced per channel at 14.50 EUR per channel per month, with a three-channel minimum. Luxembourg Online does not publish equivalent tiers, so a like-for-like above entry level needs a quote.
💶 Bundles. Luxembourg Online's public prices are mostly bundles that combine fibre, voice and mobile on one bill: Business Pack from 12.78 EUR per month on a 24-month term, Business Pack Plus from 99.00 EUR and Business Pro from 159.00 EUR on 36-month terms. These are not phone-seat prices; they buy connectivity with telephony attached. Voxbi is priced as voice on its own, over any internet line.
📊 The pricing takeaway. On the published seat price, Voxbi's paid plans start below Luxembourg Online's promotional 6.50 EUR, and Voxbi adds a free tier for very small teams. Remember that Voxbi's low per-user price excludes phone numbers and per-minute calls, so model your real usage. The wider gap is transparency: Voxbi's full price book is online, while Luxembourg Online publishes one teaser and quotes the rest. To compare beyond entry level, or to price a SIP trunk, you will need a quote from Luxembourg Online.
💡 What the seat price does not include. Both exclude handsets, setup and VAT. Luxembourg Online's standard post-promotion seat, SIP trunk, devices and number porting are quote-only. On Voxbi, paid plans do not include a phone number, with numbers from 1.60 EUR each, calls are billed per minute with no flat-rate package, and Microsoft Teams calling is an extra 50 EUR per month. Platform and features

The core difference is what each company is built around. Luxembourg Online is a network operator first, and LOLCLOUD Phone is sold mainly as an add-on to its connectivity. Mixvoip is voice-first, and Voxbi is the product it builds and hosts itself. Both are valid models. One keeps your phone, fibre and mobile under one local roof; the other treats the phone system as a product you optimise on its own.
On documented features, LOLCLOUD Phone covers the core: a mobile app and desktop softphone, call forwarding and transfer, conference calls, call groups, do not disturb and multi-site numbering. Voxbi documents a wider surface across browser, desktop and mobile: Microsoft Teams calling, IVR and call queues, call recording aligned to MiFID and PSF expectations, AI Call Insights and transcription, Odoo and Microsoft 365 integration, a public API, and bring-your-own-carrier. Several of these are not advertised by Luxembourg Online as of June 2026.

No. It is sometimes described that way, but as of June 2026 its own site markets LOLCLOUD Phone, a cloud phone system, and a SIP trunking product for businesses that run their own PBX. Microsoft Teams calling lets staff make and take business calls inside Teams. Mixvoip documents a Teams integration through its own SIP, offered on Voxbi as a paid add-on. No Teams Direct Routing or Operator Connect offer was found on Luxembourg Online's site as of June 2026, which is an evidence gap rather than a confirmed absence. If Teams is your main app, ask each provider directly.
🔐 ISO 27001 and why procurement asks about it
ISO/IEC 27001 is an international standard for managing information security. Mixvoip holds it for its telephony services. No equivalent certification is published on Luxembourg Online's sites as of June 2026, which again is an evidence gap, not proof of absence. If your auditor or insurer asks for a certificate, ask each provider for current documents.
🌍 One country or four
Luxembourg Online presents as a Luxembourg operator and does not advertise its own regulated status in Belgium, France or Germany. Mixvoip is regulated across LU, BE, FR and DE and can place local numbers in all four under one tenant. For a Luxembourg-only office this makes little difference. For teams with cross-border staff or sites, it matters.

🧭 The deciding factor. It comes down to whether you treat telephony as one tile in a local, single-supplier bundle, which favours Luxembourg Online, or as a feature-rich product you optimise on its own, which favours Mixvoip. Both host in Luxembourg, both are regulated local operators, and both let you keep your number.
